Secretary Replacement: Connie Ellington has resigned. Kristin Davis volunteered to take = on the Secretary position.

Trophies for Thunder on the Mountain: = Betsy Tait is working on and was not present to discuss any further.

Town of Gilbert Booth for Arrive and Drive: Connie and Dan cannot do the booth= at the Town of Gilbert. The Club has already paid for the = booth and electricity. It is Octobe= r 30^th from 5-9 pm. Debbie Zimmerman volunteered to show her car and promoted the Arrive and Drive. The Club will get our $100 deposit= back if the area is left clean when the event is over.

Club Star Car: Marty Tait located the= Club Star Car and will pick it up.

State Fair Fun Race: 5 cars have confirmed = they will race. Marty has parking and entrance passes. Race starts = at 6:00pm on October 20^th. There will be practice before. Marty will be there at 1:00 to make sure the track is safe for the kids. We need a flagman for t= he race. Each race does have a t= ime limit.

Alb= uquerque Club changed to USAC: Albuquerque Club asked Connie Elli= ngton to present to our Club. USAC insurance is $500 less a year. Our Club runs the race not National. No Regional Directors. USAC is r= an as a business and QMA is volunteers. USAC does not have a spec tire, QMA does. USAC does not allow Tyland Motors.= USAC has a 10 race series which co= nsists of Walt Disney World, Eldora, The Brickyard at Indianapolis, Hoosier 100 at Milton Par= k and the six other locations that are still to be determined.

Should the Club go USAC? Undetermined. Heath Dry suggested each member doing their own investigation and then present it to = the Club. Club members are concer= ned that now our Region 12 consists of Phoenix= and Tucson. Debbie Zimmerman to look into how = the Regional will be ran now that NM is no longer apart of it. Heath Dry will contact USAC and as= k if they will do a presentation for our Club and then let the members decide wh= at we should do.

Club to buy Get-Well Gift Basket for Member:= Jessica Edwards will buy a basket for Dan Matich up to $100.

Around the Room Discussion: = Marty Tait - Thunder on the Mountain, Clubs need to c= ome united. Heath Dry - Club need= s to get educated on both USAC and QMA. Debbie Zimmerman – Plus and minus to each Club. VSQMA track is grandfathered into = QMA, if we change Clubs we won’t be able to come back to QMA because the t= rack will not be up to National Specs. Dan Beiber – Any comments or changes to the Club website conta= ct Dan Beiber. Connie Ellington – not promoting USAC just stating what was asked of her by the NM Club. Scott Sutton – Th= under on the Mountain work party is Saturday November 20^th. We need more than 8 people to help= .
